Who is Utah football head coach Morgan Scalley? What to know

Utah football’s head coach, **Morgan Scalley**, is leading the Utes into a pivotal Week 7 matchup against Colorado, where they aim to extend their undefeated 5-0 start to the 2026 season. The team enters the Big 12 with a 2-0 conference record, facing a Buffaloes squad desperate to break a three-game losing streak.

Scalley’s squad has shown resilience, navigating internal challenges while maintaining dominance on the field, though the upcoming game against Colorado—ranked No. 11 nationally—will test their ability to avoid a letdown.

Meanwhile, the Utes have also made headlines off the field, with a significant recruitment milestone as they secured a landmark offer for standout safety Slade Stevenson, a move that could further bolster their defensive depth. The stakes are high as Utah looks to solidify its position at the top of the conference standings.
