The Mumbai Indians have appointed Luke Williams as the new head coach of their women's squad ahead of the 2027 Women's Premier League campaign, taking over the position from Lisa Keightley. Williams arrives with an extensive winning background, having previously guided Royal Challengers Bengaluru to the WPL title in 2024 and secured consecutive Women's Big Bash League championships with the Adelaide Strikers in 2022 and 2023.
