Where the 49ers have surprised the most through three weeks

The San Francisco 49ers have launched their 2026 campaign with three consecutive victories against the Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, and Arizona Cardinals. Powered by Brock Purdy and an elite passing attack, the squad currently paces the league in EPA per play while also incorporating contributions from Christian McCaffrey and Kaelon Black.

Beyond the skill positions, Kyle Shanahan's group has excelled in pass protection under offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak, avoiding any sacks surrendered through the first three weeks.
