The Golden State Warriors closed their six‑game preseason with a 128‑118 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Chase Center, snapping an early 10‑2 deficit and never looking back after a decisive 33‑16 run to end the first quarter. Steph Curry finished with 20 points on 3‑of‑11 shooting from beyond the arc, added four rebounds and five assists, while Draymond Green contributed seven points, eight rebounds and a double‑digit 11 assists.
Bench players Yaxel Lendeborg and Brandin Podziemski each tallied 17 points, and the second unit outscored Portland 61‑47. The Warriors also improved ball security, committing only 14 turnovers, nine of which came in the first half, a sharp drop from the 104 turnovers recorded over the first five preseason games.
Coach Steve Kerr experimented with an 11‑man rotation early, inserting Gui Santos, Gary Payton II and Georges Niang alongside the starters, and gave Green 24 minutes after a rest in the previous outing. The win moved Golden State to a 4‑2 preseason record and provided a final rehearsal before the regular season begins.
