The New Orleans Saints entered their Week 6 road game against the New York Giants with a notable absence from practice Wednesday, as star wide receiver Chris Olave did not participate due to illness. The team also saw several other key players either miss the session entirely or operate with limitations, including defensive linemen Vernon Broughton and Nathan Shepherd, both sidelined by illness, and edge rusher Anfernee Jennings, who sat out with a knee issue.
Running back Alvin Kamara and linebacker Kaden Elliss practiced on a limited basis, while defensive end Tyree Wilson and offensive lineman Jeremiah Wright were held out due to an ankle and concussion, respectively. Quarterback Tyler Shough, meanwhile, was the only starter to practice fully, despite dealing with a left-hand injury.
The Giants’ injury report for the session remains undisclosed ahead of Sunday’s matchup at MetLife Stadium.
