Washington’s nightmare end to first half changed the Cowboys game

The Washington Commanders dropped to an 0-2 record following a 37-20 defeat against the Dallas Cowboys. During the contest, starting quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow on the final play of the first half and was subsequently ruled out for the following Sunday's game.

Prior to the injury, head coach Dan Quinn opted to attempt a fourth-down conversion with three seconds remaining before halftime rather than attempting a field goal.
