The Golden State Warriors have trimmed their roster ahead of the season, waiving Dalen Terry, Tyler Burton, and Alex Toohey—all three now slated for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League. Terry, who flashed potential with 23 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, and four steals in a preseason game against Portland, faces an uphill battle to secure a two-way contract due to his NBA experience.
Burton, a 26-year-old forward, spent last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, while Toohey, a 2025 second-round pick, is still recovering from knee surgery after limited play in 2025–26. The Warriors’ final roster spots remain occupied by Georges Niang and Brandon Williams, both with partially guaranteed deals, as the team navigates salary-cap constraints and injury concerns, particularly with Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler sidelined.
With the core rotation still taking shape, continuity appears to be the priority, leaving little room for roster changes beyond the cuts already made.
