The Minnesota Vikings have added veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to their practice squad, marking his sixth NFL team after a brief stint with the New York Giants this season.
Beckham, a three-time Pro Bowler (2014–2016), appeared in three games for the Giants but recorded just one target before being released. The move comes as the Vikings face offensive struggles, ranking last in the NFL in passing yards (156.0 per game) despite a 4-0 start and undefeated record.
Meanwhile, star receiver Justin Jefferson’s Week 4 ankle sprain has raised concerns about his availability for the Vikings’ Week 5 road game against the New Orleans Saints, adding urgency to Minnesota’s depth chart adjustments. Beckham’s extensive NFL resume includes stints with the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins, with a Super Bowl win in 2021 during his Rams tenure.
His return to the field follows a 2022 ACL tear and a season without a roster spot in 2025.
