Vidarbha Stun Holders J and K; UP Crush Goa in Ranji Trophy

The Ranji Trophy Elite Group C saw three dominant performances on Tuesday, with Vidarbha and Uttar Pradesh delivering standout wins. Vidarbha stunned defending champions Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar, chasing down a modest total of 79 with a late flurry.

Harsh Dubey’s unbeaten 22 and Nachiket Bhute’s 13 not out anchored the chase after the team had been reduced to 55 for seven. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh secured a commanding 68-run victory over Goa in Kanpur, thanks to Kartik Yadav’s five-wicket haul and Aryan Juyal’s crucial 74, which set a challenging target of 236.

Baroda also made their mark, defeating Bihar by 10 wickets in Vadodara, with Bhargav Bhatt’s six-wicket second-innings performance turning the tide after Bihar’s Mangal Mahrour had top-scored with 138 in a high total of 251 in their second innings.
