UConn football demolishes Southern Miss, 48-20

The University of Connecticut football program secured a decisive 48-20 victory against Southern Miss during their first away trip of the campaign. Playing in sweltering conditions roughly one thousand three hundred miles from home, the Huskies rebounded effectively from a previous defeat against Maryland to claim their second win of the year.

Kalieb Osborne contributed to the offensive effort at quarterback under the direction of head coach Jason Candle. Meanwhile, the contest marked the inaugural meeting between these two athletic programs.
