Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton faces another setback after suffering a hamstring strain just four games into his return from a season-long absence caused by an Achilles injury. Coach Rick Carlisle confirmed that the guard is scheduled for consultations with medical specialists to determine the severity of the issue.
Through his first four appearances this season, Haliburton had been performing at a high level, averaging 21.8 points and 9.5 assists per contest. The Pacers are now forced to adjust their rotation for upcoming matchups against the 76ers, Heat, Nets, and Hawks.
With additional injury concerns surrounding Ivica Zubac, TJ McConnell, and Andrew Nembhard, the team plans to lean on Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin to manage the offensive load during this period of depleted depth.
