New Zealand pace bowler Trent Boult has signed a deal with the Sydney Thunder for the upcoming Big Bash League campaign. He will team up with fellow countryman Lockie Ferguson and former Australian captain David Warner as the franchise aims to capture the tournament trophy under head coach Andrew Flintoff.
Boult brings extensive experience from several global T20 competitions, including stints with multiple Indian Premier League franchises, Major League Cricket's MI New York, the SA20 league, and the International League T20. In addition to those domestic tournaments, the left-arm pacer recently finished the inaugural European T20 Premier League season with sixteen wickets across ten matches at a strong economy rate.
