Tough sledding for J.K. Dobbins on Thursday night

Denver Broncos running back **J.K. Dobbins** faced a defensive challenge on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks, who have allowed just two rushing touchdowns all season.

Despite the tough sledding, Dobbins contributed early with a four-yard rushing touchdown to give Denver a 7-3 lead in the first quarter. The veteran back became a focal point of the Broncos' offense under new play-caller **Sean Payton**, who had previously led the team to a divisional win the week prior.

Dobbins accounted for 18 of Denver’s 28 rushing yards in Payton’s first game calling plays, though Seattle’s stifling run defense made gains difficult. The Broncos ultimately secured a 17-14 victory in overtime, with their defense carrying the load after a tight offensive performance.

Dobbins’ role in the backfield has drawn fantasy football attention, especially after he out-touched teammate **RJ Harvey** 20-3 in the previous week. With Payton’s offensive system now in place, Dobbins’ ability to capitalize on opportunities remains a key storyline for Denver’s ground game moving forward.
