Tiger Woods returned to the golf range this week at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, where he hosted a clinic for guests attending the Tiger Woods Invitational. The 50-year-old 15-time major champion, who has been largely absent from competitive play, spent time on the range demonstrating his signature shots, including a notable 'stinger' shot for attendees.
His appearance comes as part of a three-day charity event running from October 12 to 14, which includes tournament play across three prestigious California courses: Spyglass Hill, Monterey Peninsula’s Dunes Course, and Pebble Beach Golf Links. The event also features receptions and opportunities for guests to interact with professional golfers, all while supporting Woods’ TGR Foundation through educational programs for young people.
Woods’ latest public outing follows his involvement in the TGR JR Invitational at Pebble Beach earlier this week, where he engaged with junior golfers and introduced competitors on the first tee. While his participation in these events does not confirm an immediate return to PGA Tour competition, it offers fans a rare glimpse of the legendary golfer in action outside of tournaments.
The clinic and invitational highlight Woods’ continued influence in golf, even as he remains focused on his recovery and future plans.
