Three matchups to watch in the Phillies-Braves Wild Card series

The Philadelphia Phillies have secured a postseason berth, sending them to Georgia for a best-of-three Wild Card clash against their division rivals. For the opening pair of games, the visiting squad plans to send out top left-handed starting pitchers Jesús Luzardo and Cristopher Sánchez.

The Atlanta lineup has historically struggled against southpaw pitching, posting low numbers across batting averages and on-base metrics throughout the year. Meanwhile, the home side boasts a formidable bullpen anchored by closer Raisel Iglesias alongside relievers Dylan Lee and Didier Fuentes, though key Philadelphia hitters hold favorable historical stats against certain members of that relief corps.
