Las Vegas secured its spot by defeating the Indiana Fever behind a stellar seventy-seven point combined effort from A'ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young. Meanwhile, Golden State completed a remarkable comeback win over the Dallas Wings, capped by Gabby Williams scoring nineteen points.

The New York Liberty made postseason history as the first eighth seed to sweep a top seed by eliminating the Minnesota Lynx, while the Atlanta Dream advanced past the Washington Mystics behind Angel Reese, Allisha Gray, and Rhyne Howard. The semifinal round shifts to a best-of-five format.
