The Heat fixed their terrible Dwyane Wade statue, and it actually looks like him now

Following widespread online mockery, the Miami franchise has overhauled its infamous tribute to its most celebrated franchise icon. Sculptors modified the head and facial features of the outdoor monument over the offseason to better resemble the retired superstar.

The original artwork debuted roughly two years ago to coincide with the opening of the 2024-25 campaign. Officials collaborated with the legendary guard during recent months to ensure the revised likeness finally matches his actual appearance.
