The Decennial of Vin Scully’s Swan Song

Today marks ten years since legendary broadcaster Vin Scully concluded his iconic career during a matchup between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants. The Giants fell to the Dodgers with a final score of 7-1, while starting pitcher Kenta Maeda struggled early in the contest.

The venue honored the retiring broadcaster with a dedicated plaque in the visiting press booth and distributed special cheer cards to attendees. Over the subsequent decade, Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser have taken over broadcasting duties to guide the team forward.
