Head coach Ben Johnson has confirmed that Tyson Bagent will start at quarterback for the Chicago Bears in their upcoming game against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. Additionally, the Bears have brought back Scotty Miller to their practice squad.

In other league developments, Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson has retired after 14 seasons, while former Bears tight end Durham Smythe is out for the remainder of the season due to an Achilles injury. Minnesota Vikings guard Donovan Jackson has also been placed on injured reserve.
