Chicago Bears Midweek Musings: Dennis Allen, Magician

Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen is receiving significant praise for the Chicago Bears' improved defensive performance over the last three weeks, a sharp turnaround from preseason skepticism regarding the unit's potential. While the coaching staff earns accolades, the roster faces personnel questions, specifically concerning Tyrique Stevenson's inconsistent play compared to the expectations for Jaylon Johnson and the eventual return of Kyler Gordon.

Meanwhile, offensive lineman Jonah Jackson is emerging as a standout performer who warrants more individual recognition alongside teammates Darnell Wright and Joe Thuney.
