Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair has received a financial penalty from the NFL for writing the name Hind Rajab on his eye black during a recent defeat against the Buffalo Bills. The display was intended to pay tribute to a young Palestinian girl who was killed.
This is not the first time the Houston defender has drawn league discipline for his personal messaging. During the previous season, Al-Shaair was similarly punished with a fine after sporting the phrase Stop the Genocide on his eye black.
