Tennessee football assistant William Inge received 'positive news' in health battle

Tennessee linebackers coach William Inge experienced minor health improvements recently following a sudden medical emergency that kept him hospitalized. Head coach Josh Heupel shared the update ahead of the team's matchup against the top-ranked Longhorns, noting that the assistant remains in a tough battle.

Inge previously missed two earlier contests for the Vols, including a home victory against Kennesaw State and a narrow defeat on their home turf. During the subsequent matchup, the defensive unit rallied behind their ailing coach, holding the opponent to a low yardage total, recording six sacks, and forcing an interception.
