The Six Kings Slam tennis tournament in Riyadh has been pushed back to late December following a series of violent strikes in the region. Organizers cited organizational and logistical difficulties as the primary reason for the delay of the exhibition, which was scheduled to feature stars like Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, and Alexander Zverev.
The security concerns arose after a missile attack on the city's airport resulted in 13 deaths and hundreds of injuries.
Beyond the tennis event, the Saudi Pro League has rescheduled three matches, including a contest involving Cristiano Ronaldo's club, Al-Nassr. Ronaldo was previously involved in an AFC Champions League game that faced a one-hour delay due to a missile alert.
Meanwhile, officials from the Asian Tour are currently evaluating the status of the PIF Saudi International golf tournament, which is slated for mid-November at the Riyadh Golf Club.
