The Philadelphia 76ers have solidified their roster depth by converting center Tacko Fall to a two-way contract, filling the team’s final available spot. Fall, a 7-foot-6 center with NBA experience, joins guards Caleb Love and wing Rayan Rupert as the Sixers’ two-way players.
His addition comes as the team navigates injuries to other big men, including center Ariel Hukporti (Achilles tear) and Adem Bona (recently returned from a foot sprain). Head coach Nick Nurse previously hinted at competition for the two-way slot, noting Fall’s potential to contribute alongside other centers like Jabari Walker and Dean Wade, who have seen preseason action at the five behind Joel Embiid.
Fall’s last NBA game was in December 2021, and he has averaged limited but productive minutes in past appearances, though a hip injury kept him out of preseason play this year.
