SEC All-American Xavier Atkins no longer at Auburn, announces transfer plans

Auburn star linebacker Xavier Atkins is departing the program following an internal disciplinary matter that sidelined him for a 27-24 upset victory over Georgia. Following a team suspension handled internally by head coach Alex Golesh, the junior defender confirmed via social media that he intends to enter the transfer portal once the appropriate window opens.

Atkins departs having recorded 37 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one interception during the current campaign.
