The Seattle Seahawks have finally broken through on offense, cutting into a Denver Broncos lead with a pair of scoring plays. Running back George Holani punched in a 1-yard touchdown to spark the drive, and the Seahawks capitalized with a 2-point conversion pass from quarterback Sam Darnold to Rashid Shaheed, narrowing the gap to 14-11.
The offensive surge included a 67-yard, 11-play sequence that tested Denver’s defense, featuring a 7-yard completion to Jaxon Smith-Njigba on fourth-and-4 and a later 18-yard scramble by Darnold to extend the drive. Earlier in the quarter, kicker Jason Myers missed a 47-yard field goal attempt that would have tied the game, leaving the Seahawks with momentum but still trailing.
Darnold has thrown for 195 yards on 20-of-38 attempts so far in the contest.
