Scorpion logo returns to yellow jersey after 33 years as Castelli becomes new kit partner for Tour de France and other ASO races

October 13, 2026

The iconic scorpion logo will make its triumphant return to the Tour de France’s yellow jersey after a 33-year absence, as Italian brand Castelli has been named the new kit partner for race organizers ASO. The deal covers all 27 professional races and amateur events under ASO’s umbrella, including the Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, and both the men’s and women’s Vuelta a España, alongside races like Paris-Nice and the Tour Auvergne Rhône Alpes.

Castelli previously supplied the yellow jersey from 1989 to 1994, a period that saw Greg LeMond and Miguel Indurain secure multiple Tour victories in the iconic design. The new partnership also extends to the green, polka-dot, and white jerseys for the points, mountains, and youth classifications, though those designs will be unveiled later.

While Castelli will no longer outfit the Giro d’Italia, the agreement ensures visibility across over 100 race days in men’s and women’s competitions, marking a significant expansion for the brand. The reveal of the updated yellow jersey will take place at the Tour de France route presentation in Paris on October 22, with ASO CEO Yan Le Moënner praising Castelli’s expertise in delivering high-quality cycling apparel.
