British cyclist Leo Hayter has committed to a contract extension with Modern Adventure for the 2027 season. After stepping away from Ineos Grenadiers in August 2024 due to a long battle with depression, the twenty-five-year-old joined his current squad this year.
Although a spring back injury and a late-season pericarditis diagnosis disrupted his campaign, he managed nineteen race days and secured two professional podiums, alongside a fifth-place finish at the TPC en Nouvelle-Aquitaine stage race in August.
Modern Adventure co-founder George Hincapie expressed confidence in the rider's potential once he successfully recovers from his illness. The team has retained its entire 2026 roster for the upcoming year, keeping riders such as Ben Oliver, Robin Carpenter, and Stefan De Bod under contract as the squad prepares for the next campaign.
