Sale hold on to beat Saracens despite Vermeulen red

Sale secured a 21-17 victory against Saracens despite playing a significant portion of the match with a numerical disadvantage following Jacques Vermeulen's red card and an earlier yellow card to Alex Lozowski. Nathan Jibulu opened the scoring with a try for the victors, which was answered by Eroni Mawi before Tom O'Flaherty and Ben Bamber further extended the lead.

Despite late scores from Sione Va'enuku and Charlie Bracken, the home side managed to hold on for their first win of the campaign under referee Joe James.
