Following the game, Lions head coach Dan Campbell offered direct remarks regarding defensive concerns surrounding his secondary.

Even in defeat, Saints wide receiver Chris Olave delivered a standout performance, hauling in 10 receptions for a career-best 182 yards, which nearly eclipsed a franchise milestone. The 26-year-old achieved these numbers despite exiting the contest multiple times due to injury concerns, starting in the first half.

Quarterback Tyler Shough also established a personal career high in yardage during the dramatic clash.
