Ronaldo closes in on 1,000th goal with hat-trick

Cristiano Ronaldo moved closer to his career milestone of one thousand goals by netting a hat-trick during a five-three victory for Al-Nassr against Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League. His scoring burst over a fifteen-minute span in the second half broke a two-two tie, following earlier scoring contributions from teammates Angelo Gabriel and Sadio Mane.

Fellow Portugal international Joao Felix provided four assists in the match, setting up a pair of strikes for Ronaldo.

This performance marked the sixty-seventh career hat-trick for the veteran forward, bringing his overall career tally to nine hundred and eighty-five goals. The victory keeps Al-Nassr in second place within the domestic league table as they pursue the current leaders with a game in hand.
