Miguel Rojas will miss the Dodgers’ NLDS Game 4 against the Braves after aggravating a lower back injury during Game 3 at Truist Park. The veteran infielder exited early in the fifth inning of Tuesday’s game, his back tightening further after fielding a grounder from Ronald Acuña Jr.
and later handling a foul ball. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed Rojas remains sidelined for Wednesday’s matchup, though the team will keep him on the active roster for now to preserve his eligibility should L.A.
advance to the NLCS. With 14 position players carried into the series, the Dodgers have depth at second base, including Tommy Edman, Hyeseong Kim, and Hunter Feduccia, though the bench lacks a right-handed pinch-hitting option beyond Edman.
Rojas, who is considering retirement after this season, has gone 1-for-4 with a double in the postseason so far.
