Veteran infielder Miguel Rojas left the NLDS Game 3 in Atlanta during the top of the eighth inning after reporting low back pain. He had been on the field since the fifth, where he made a key defensive play that stopped two runners by fielding a grounder from Ronald Acuña Jr.
and throwing to first. Rojas stayed in the game through the seventh but was pulled mid‑at‑bat after Shohei Ohtani opened the inning with a walk.
Tommy Edman entered as a pinch‑hitter to finish the plate appearance and then took over second base for the remainder of the game. Rojas finished the night 0‑for‑3 with a strikeout.
The Dodgers will look to rebound in Game 4, scheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET on FS1, as they continue their postseason series against the Braves.
