Report: "Final straw" for Steelers was Joey Porter Jr.'s Wednesday claim of back pain

Pittsburgh reached a breaking point with cornerback Joey Porter Jr. after he reported back discomfort on Wednesday despite participating fully in practice for the previous two days.

This sudden physical complaint convinced the franchise to pursue a trade rather than continue dealing with a player determined to exit, mirroring how Micah Parsons forced his way out of Dallas last year to land with Green Bay.
