Rays Finally Remembered Who They Are In 12-Inning World Series Battle vs. Brewers

Facing a 3-0 deficit in the Fall Classic, the Tampa Bay squad finally showed its championship mettle during a marathon 12-inning showdown against the Milwaukee team. Brewers shortstop Cooper Pratt appeared to secure victory in the top of the 12th by launching a go-ahead home run off Ian Seymour, but the home side mounted a dramatic final-frame rally.

Junior Caminero sparked the comeback in the bottom of the inning by reaching base on an error by Joey Ortiz. Liam Hicks and Jonny DeLuca delivered crucial hits to tie the game before Chandler Simpson loaded the bases, setting the stage for manager Kevin Cash to deploy Ben Williamson off the bench late in the contest at Tropicana Field.
