The Baltimore Ravens have activated offensive linemen Chuma Edoga and Kyle Hergel from the practice squad ahead of their Week 6 clash with the Cleveland Browns. The moves suggest the team expects to start without either Andrew Vorhees or Emery Jones, both of whom remain questionable after limited practice participation this week.
Vorhees, who took over at right guard after Vega Ioane shifted to center, suffered a foot injury in Week 4 and missed the Ravens’ victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Jones, who started in his place, played every snap despite a knee injury.
Hergel, now on his third straight elevation, was signed to provide backup center depth after Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic were placed on injured reserve. Edoga, who made his Ravens debut last week in a single snap as a sixth offensive lineman, will again serve as an emergency option at tackle or guard against a Browns defensive line weakened by injuries.
