Rashee Rice emphasizes Chiefs’ physicality on display against Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs opened their season with a commanding 31-10 triumph over the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium. Running back Kenneth Walker III spearheaded the offensive charge in his team debut, racking up 191 total scrimmage yards and finding the end zone twice.

Head coach Andy Reid lauded the showing, while quarterback Patrick Mahomes credited Walker with establishing the physical tone in Mahomes's own return to action following an ACL tear.

While Mahomes endured some precision issues throughout the contest, he did hook up with wideout Rashee Rice on a 13-yard, second-quarter touchdown that put Kansas City in front. That play accounted for the bulk of Rice's quiet outing, as he secured both of his targets to conclude the evening with 19 receiving yards.
