Rafael Jodar rates Daniil Medvedev’s level after beating him to reach Shanghai Masters final

Rafael Jodar advanced to his first Masters 1000 final after defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 6-4 in the Shanghai Masters semi-finals. Despite Medvedev threatening to retire during a tense second set, Jodar maintained his composure to secure the victory.

Jodar praised his opponent's performance, though statistical data showed the Spaniard held a higher performance rating of 8.9 compared to Medvedev's 7.8. Jodar will now face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who earned his spot by defeating Alexander Zverev, in the tournament final.
