Pretorius 188* breaks Gayle's record for highest T20 score

Cricket history was rewritten recently when a new benchmark was established in the shortest format of the game. An extraordinary unbeaten knock of 188 established the highest individual total in T20 history, surpassing a legendary milestone previously owned by Chris Gayle.

The previous standard had stood since the 2013 Indian Premier League season, when Gayle managed an undefeated 175 runs. That long-standing record has now been eclipsed by this phenomenal new performance.
