Pre-Snap Reads: Week 1 indicators for Jadarian Price’s role in Seahawks O
First-year running back Jadarian Price drew significant attention following his professional debut in the Seattle Seahawks' season-opening victory over the New England Patriots at Lumen Field. Taken with the thirty-second pick in the 2026 draft, the newcomer impressed during his limited third-quarter snaps, prompting calls to expand his role going forward.
Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba expressed satisfaction with starting the schedule with a victory despite an uneven offensive showing.
Seattle now turns its attention to an upcoming road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, entering as ten-point favorites despite major roster adjustments. Quarterback Sam Darnold sustained an injury expected to sideline him past next week, elevating Drew Lock into the starting spot.
These injury developments, coupled with a major setback for Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Myles Garrett, have quickly shifted the early landscape of the NFC West.
