Portland guard Ja Morant will be sidelined for a minimum of four weeks due to a grade two left hamstring strain. Medical imaging confirmed the partial tear following his early exit from Thursday evening's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Before this setback, Morant had contributed 16.3 points and 6.3 assists per contest while converting 58.8 percent of his field goal attempts and 44.4 percent from beyond the arc. In his absence, Jrue Holiday is expected to join the starting lineup, creating an increased burden for Scoot Henderson, who has posted 7.5 points per game on 34.4 percent shooting coming off the bench.
