The Henry Tuten Gator Bowl Pro-Am marks its 50th edition this December 14-15 at the Sea Island Resort Seaside and Plantation Courses on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
This year's milestone event carries a melancholic tone following the March passing of namesake Henry Tuten at age 97, though organizers will celebrate his legacy which includes distributing over $100,000 to regional golf charities over the last six years. The holiday tournament brings together club professionals and tour players from circuits such as the PGA Tour, LIV, and PGA Tour Champions, pairing each professional with three amateurs for 36 holes of gross best ball competition.
Early sign-ups for the anniversary field feature Russell Knox, Keith Mitchell, Andrew Novak, Harold Varner III, and Taylor Dickson. They join a rich history of past participants that includes Vijay Singh, David Duval, Mark McCumber, Cameron Smith, Len Mattiace, Kenny Perry, Frank Lickliter, and Davis Thompson.
