Patriots waive Jose Ramirez from 53-man roster, make changes to practice squad

The New England Patriots have parted ways with outside linebacker Jose Ramirez, removing him from the active roster after he participated in two games and recorded one tackle. This roster adjustment occurs as the team prepares for the return of players currently on reserve lists.

In related practice squad activity, the team added cornerback Al’zillion Hamilton while releasing offensive lineman Da’Metrius Weatherspoon. The Patriots are scheduled to host the Las Vegas Raiders at their home field next Sunday at 1 p.m.
