New England is set to bolster its passing attack this weekend as A.J. Brown returns to the active roster.
The wide receiver spent the mandatory four-week period on injured reserve following a high ankle sprain sustained during the team's opening game against Seattle. After participating in limited practice sessions throughout the week, he has been cleared to play in Sunday's matchup.
Head coach Mike Vrabel noted that the team evaluated the 29-year-old's conditioning and overall performance before finalizing the decision to bring him back. Brown will join a receiving group that includes Romeo Doubs, DeMario Douglas, Kyle Williams, and Efton Chism for the upcoming contest.
