Pat Surtain II leaves with ankle injury, Broncos and 49ers tied 3-3 at halftime

During the opening half of Sunday's matchup between Denver and San Francisco, cornerback Pat Surtain II exited the field due to an ankle injury sustained during coverage. Medical personnel escorted him to the locker room before the intermission, and his return status is currently listed as questionable.

On the final play of the second quarter, Eddy Pineiro attempted a field goal for San Francisco, but the kick was blocked. Both squads entered the halftime break deadlocked at three points apiece, following a sluggish first half where each offense struggled to sustain momentum.
