Pakistan will don pink jerseys for their fourth ODI against England in the tri-series at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on October 25, marking Breast Cancer Awareness Day as part of the global Pinktober initiative. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has partnered with Pink Ribbon Pakistan to promote early detection and treatment, with players, officials, and broadcasters participating in awareness activities.
The stadium will feature pink branding, including stumps, LED boards, and big-screen messages, while free mammogram screenings will be offered to female fans from October 24 to 26 in collaboration with Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital. England’s team will also show support by wearing pink ribbons, and limited-edition pink merchandise will be available for purchase.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed emphasized the board’s commitment to using cricket as a platform for social impact, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and timely medical care.
