Pakistan sensation hits historic CPL final hundred, but gets overshadowed by national teammate

Maaz Sadaqat delivered a record-setting performance in the Caribbean Premier League championship fixture, posting the first ever hundred in a tournament title match with an explosive 114 from 58 deliveries. Despite his dominant display—which accounted for the vast majority of his team's 170-9 total—the Kingsmen fell short as the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons claimed their inaugural tournament trophy.

The victorious chase was steered by a four-wicket bowling spell from Sufyan Moqim, who tore through the middle order with figures of four wickets for fourteen runs. Unbeaten knocks of 57 from Amir Jangoo and 47 from Hasan Nawaz then safely guided the Falcons across the finish line with twenty deliveries remaining.
