PAK vs SL preview: Pakistan must overcome party pooper Sri Lanka to win first tri-series at home

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are set to clash in Lahore on Saturday for the final of a tri-series, with both squads having secured one victory against each other earlier in the tournament. Pakistan is seeking its first home tri-series title after finishing as the runner-up in three previous attempts, entering the ultimate match following three consecutive wins and a subsequent defeat to Sri Lanka.

Coach Mike Hesson noted that his team has yet to perform at its peak capability, while openers Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam look to regain consistency. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka arrives with high confidence under the leadership of captain Kusal Mendis following a historic run chase against England and strong batting contributions from Pavan Rathnayake.
