Packers film room: Brief notes on the defense’s coverage bust in week 3

During a Week 3 matchup, the Green Bay Packers struggled defensively against the Atlanta Falcons, particularly through a pair of long passes allowed in the fourth quarter. Falcons receiver Drake London racked up 194 yards on nine receptions, highlighted by gains of 68 and 40 yards thrown by quarterback Michael Penix.

A notable coverage breakdown on the 68-yard third-and-2 play occurred when defender Brandon Cisse drifted to the flat while guarding London, giving up a wide-open window and leading directly to points. Although Green Bay attempted a late comeback sparked by Jordan Love finding Matthew Golden for a touchdown, Atlanta maintained control to secure the outcome.
