Ahead of a Week 5 Big Ten matchup on the road, the fifth-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes released their first medical availability ledger on Wednesday evening. The visiting squad enters enemy territory carrying a 3-1 record following a 42-19 conference opening victory against Illinois, while their upcoming hosts, the fourteenth-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes, earned a thrilling win over Michigan in their previous outing.
For Ohio State, three competitors have been ruled out for the weekend: wide receiver Amari Valerio-Hudson alongside offensive linemen Jaxon Powell and Vasean Washington. Additionally, six Buckeyes received a questionable designation: safety Brenten Jones, running back Anthony Rogers, cornerback Jay Timmons, linebacker Braxton Rembert, offensive lineman Phillip Daniels, and tight end Bennet Christian.
Meanwhile, the home side will be missing Tyler Brown for the contest in Iowa City, where kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday.
These newly instituted conference tracking sheets will receive subsequent updates on Thursday and Friday nights, followed by a final status report two hours prior to the start of the game.
